👥 Who it’s for: Estimators, Bid Coordinators, Precon Managers
🗓 When to use it: From invitations to bid day
Getting enough bids on every package takes a lot of follow-up. Who hasn't answered? Who said yes but hasn't sent a number? Which bids came in by email instead of through the bid tool? Muro keeps track of all of it and drafts the follow-ups for you.

What to ask
1. Pick and invite the bidders:
Build a bidders list for each bid package, ranked by trade and past performance. Then invite them.
2. Chase the subs who haven't responded:
Check which invited subs haven't responded or submitted a bid, and draft a follow-up email to each.
3. Log bids that came in by email:
Find bids subs emailed me instead of submitting, and log them in the bid tool.
Go further:
Create a bid coverage report for every package, in Excel.
Which packages have fewer than three bids?
Add two more electrical subs to the bidders list.
Tips & best practices
✅ Review the bidders list before you invite. Remove subs you don't want and add any Muro missed.
💡 Run the follow-up check every few days. Or set it up as a scheduled task so it runs on its own.
💡 Check the coverage report a week before bid day. You still have time to add bidders to thin packages.
🔒 You stay in control. Muro shows a preview of every invitation and email and waits for your approval before sending anything. See Your data, security & approvals.
Good to know
Muro ranks bidders using the history in your bid tool. With little history, the ranking is mostly by trade.
Logging emailed bids needs access to the inbox where the bids arrive.
