Hand the job off to the project team

Build a handoff brief and readiness checklist so assumptions, exclusions and risks aren't lost after award.

👥 Who it’s for: Precon Managers, Estimators, Project Managers

🗓 When to use it: After award, before kickoff

Precon knows why every number is what it is. The project team usually gets a folder and a one-hour meeting. Muro builds a handoff brief from the bid documents, so the assumptions, exclusions and open risks don't get lost.

Tips & best practices

  • ✅ Add the qualifications and exclusions you bid with. They're the most common thing lost in a handoff.

  • 💡 Run the readiness check a week before kickoff, so there's time to close the gaps.

  • 💡 Keep everything in one project. Muro builds the brief from what's already in Project Workspace.

  • ✅ Walk through it together. Use the brief as the agenda for the handoff meeting.

Good to know

  • The brief only covers what's in the project. If a decision lives in someone's inbox, add it.
