What Muro does for your innovation team

Connect your systems, turn best practices into skills, set guardrails and roll Muro out team by team.

👥 Who it’s for: Innovation, VDC, operations and IT leaders

🗓 When to use it: You're rolling out AI across your teams

Your job is to bring new tools to the field and the office without adding risk or noise. Muro gives your teams one place where project documents, the tools they already use and your company's know-how come together, with guardrails you set.

What you can do with Muro

🔌 Connect your systems
Admins connect your file storage once (e.g., SharePoint, Google Drive, Procore, Autodesk) so teams can sync project folders. Each person connects the apps they use, like Outlook, Teams, Procore or BuildingConnected.

🧩 Turn your best practices into skills
Write a skill once, add your company's templates as resources, and share it with the whole organization. Everyone gets the same result in the same format, on every project.

🔒 Set the guardrails
Choose what Muro can do in each tool: read-only tools are allowed by default, and anything that creates, changes or sends needs approval. Only Muro admins can connect data sources.

◷ Automate recurring work
Schedule tasks that run on their own, like a weekly RFI and submittal report or daily bid follow-ups.

🤝 Get help building
Ask our team for a custom skill or agent for a workflow that's unique to you, or book a workshop for your teams.

🔒 Your data stays yours. Documents stay in your organization's projects, and only members with access can see them. See Your data, security & approvals.

How to roll it out

  1. Start with one team and one workflow. Pick a job from Use Cases that costs the team the most time.

  2. Connect what that team needs. One data source and the 2–3 apps they use every day.

  3. Build one or two skills with your templates, test them as Personal, then share them with the Organization.

  4. Keep write tools on Needs approval until the team is comfortable with the results.

  5. Run a workshop so the team learns by doing. See Workshops & training sessions.

  6. Expand to the next team and the next workflow.

Tips & best practices

  • ✅ Measure one thing. Hours saved on one workflow is easier to show than a general "AI adoption" number.

  • 💡 Name an owner per skill. Someone keeps the instructions and templates up to date.

  • 💡 Check the sources. Every answer and output links back to the page it came from. See How Muro cites its sources.

Good to know

  • Apps are connected per person. Data sources are connected once by an admin.
